What's the best TV brand for you?

Around ten years ago, I bought my very first television set -- thanks to my "untaxed" first monthly salary. It was a Panasonic Sophia. The deciding factor that made me purchase the brand was the surround stereo built-in to the unit -- yung tipong nanonood ka ng giyera sa tv, and ang dating is parang may giyera din sa loob ng kwarto mo.

Since Sky Cable is going to provide me with a FREE subscription to their DigiBox, I might as well buy a new TV set. Nope, I do not have a budget for an LCD TV, yet -- a 21-inch flat screen CRT type TV will do. We made a canvass over the weekend, and the prices are almost the same -- PHP9,000 to PHP11,000 per pop + almost all brands come with FREE TV stand.

Now, what TV brand can you suggest? Why?

Anyone who knows where can I find Pocoyo stuffed toys? Pocoyo is Robyn's favorite cartoon character, and we haven't found any Pocoyo toy locally, yet.

The Smart Bro connection of our Windows XP machine out home is down since last night. Two night ago, my wife noticed that the connection goes OFF and ON from time to time, displaying the messages "Connected 100Mbps" and "A cable is disconnected" alternately. I checked on the cables, LAN card, etc. and last night, I found out that the culprit is the AC adaptor of the Motorola Canopy antenna -- loose connection. I immediately called Smart Bro Customer Service, advised them that I was using a GlobePH mobile phone, and after being put on hold for more than 15 minutes, the CSR asked me to REPLACE THE UTP CABLE BY MY SELF -- WTF?! All I was asking was for a technician to drop by our place and check the AC adaptor (if not to replace it), and now they are ASKING ME TO CHANGE THE UTP CABLE. I asked the CSR if she knows what she was asking me to do, and all she can answer was silence -- then the line was cut off.
